Mystery Man

While passing by the window of an IHOP in LA, my friends & I spotted a mystifying gentleman gazing intensely down at something at his table. His impassioned look instantly struck our attention & we attempted to sneak this picture to capture the thousand untold words.

Of course, he discovered us stealing pictures of him through the window, and was rendered uncomfortable (rightfully so). We had been caught. We had to apologize. He turned out to be a London gent who was very pleasant and forgiving, and even more fashionable than we had initially seen! He answered our questions and accepted our apologies and allowed us to take a picture of him. The right way.

So meticulously well-put together. So tall! So nice to meet you, sir.

a new year, a new gear

Over the past year, I've become a die-hard Charger fan (where before I didn't know which team my heart truly belonged to, having lived in so many different states), started my very first avant garde clothing collection, graduated with honors from college with my BFA in Fashion Design, gotten a job in the industry, became a Jeep girl, started killing jumps on the ski slopes, purchased czelsea.com and chelseaheil.com & still don't know how to upload to them (but am still highly optimistic), been to Texas, won thousands in Vegas, fully & fabulously re-decorated a condo using under $5,000 - and realized that growing up is unbelievably over-rated.

Here's a video. Watch it.

Go Chargers!!

my first collection, inspired by McQueen - BLEED

Alexander McQueen was an extremely influential designer since the start of his career, known for his shocking looks and fashionably uncouth presentation. He went out as tragically as he came in. This product line will aim to launch a widespread comprehension of the relation between life’s cataclysmic events and expression through dominant apparel. Fashion is life, and McQueen will live on through it.

These garments exude a powerful spirit. Details made of fur and metal and cuts that have not yet been seen by the style world will propel Fall 2010 into a state of beautifully organized chaos. This apparel will send a message that says, “life is hard, but it’s worth it”.

Using functional zippers at the hemlines, our customer will be able to mix and match various tops to bottoms to create different looks. These comprehensive styles present an inevitable metamorphosis that mirrors our growth in day-to-day life. Life is about change and finding the means to deal with that evolution. This collection shows that although some things appear to be one way, it can easily change into a beautiful new adaptation the next.

feeling the love

daisy dukes, wooden heels, bronzed skin, and carefree beauty - I'm digging the style of the 70's right now. all it took was a long lay by the pool and a few nostalgic retro images and I'm ready to go rollerblading on the boardwalk in my short shorts!

nix the cigs tho... gross.

dreamboating

I've wanted a yacht for a long time... but this one I NEED! Screw land, I'm pulling a high-class Kevin Costner.

Here's the deets:

A famous French shipbuilder ship company and one of Monaco joined hands together to build this yacht with enormous dimensions: 58meter long and 38 meter wide, an area of 3400 m2 has seating for 12 passengers and 20 crew. This is a "green" yacht. Wally et Hermès use green energy for 20-30% fuel savings and 40-50% electricity consumption on board. Therefore, there are 900 m2 equipped with solar panels, producing a daily output of 500 kilowatts. Equipment: three decks, a 25 meter pool, a spa helicopterpad, sauna, gym & massage room, a 130 meter promenade, a music room, a dining room, a cinema, sun decks, suites, terraces, & a lounge. The luxury is at the rendez-vous. The decks are connected by stairs but there is also an elevator. The suite of the owner (Ikke); with an area of 200m2, completely covers the third deck. The sea view is great and there is a private terrace of 25 meters long. The yacht has the shape of a horseshoe and has a roof so everything is bathed in a sea of light. The spacious lounge. On the lower deck are the common premises, such as lounge, piano bar and dining area. The dining room opens onto the sea view. Suites for the guests or the guests, 5 suites with sea views (on the middendek). There is also a reading room equipped.

OKAAAAAAAAY?!

a not so fat tuesday

hitting Bourbon Street is a must on Fat Tuesday... and with being surrounded by gay men, I was pleasantly surprised @ how many beads I was given without having to show off the twins! I guess you earn a pair just for being fierce.

definitely a wild night getting dragged into the men's bathroom to primp while my boys relieved themselves...

laugh your effing clothes off.

These guys will whip me up some comedic sunshine on any rainy day. Honestly, this glorious sight of them basking in their faux buff valor for Vanity Fair makes me nauseatingly aroused. Don't act like you don't want to squeeze Jonah Hill's tiny little tush!
